Single tooth extraction and implant rehabilitation
This patient presented with the wish to save the severely damaged central incisor, #21 (FDI) / #9(US). Unfortunately the periodontal breakdown was already too advanced and the tooth had to be extracted. As a replacement, the patient asked for the treatment option with the most favorable aesthetic outcome. Therefore at the time of the extraction a socket preservation approach was chosen and an implant was placed following a delayed placement protocol with a connective tissue graft.
